I am guessing you are reporting duplicate notification over IM. If this is the case try typing in reset to the bot, that should clear it up. Let us know how that works out for you.

That's correct, notify.me relies on page2rss to publish an rss update for a site in order for a notification to be generated and delivered.

I think I know what's going on ... try visiting http://notify.me and logging in .. the click on a notify.me link and you should no longer see the toolbar. We determine whether or not to display the toolbar based on your account settings, which requires users to be logged in.

we've attempted to reproduce this issue with a google applications account, our attempt at adding a google application account to the notify.me service succeeded and we were able to verify the account.

we have also verified that we are in fact sending a pub / sub request to your gtalk account.

can you attempt to start a conversation with zeus@agents.notify.me from your account, and type in the word report and tell us what the response you receive is?

what client are you using for gtalk? can you try logging in to the gtalk web client associated with your account to see if it receives the validation request?

gtalk uses jabber, it's the same protocol ... can you check your blocked users list to ensure that zeus@agents.notify.me is not blocked by your gtalk account?

with regards to sms, it looks like you have telcel in Mexico, are you able to send an email to your phone via telcel's email gateway? we currently rely on a mobile phone provider's email to sms gateway in order to send notifications.

We have verified that we have sent you jabber account a validation request. You can resend a validation request by visiting the following page and clicking the validate link to the right of you jabbed address:

Can you make sure that you did not inadvertently block or deny the validation request on your jabber server for zeus@agents.notify.me?

there is a way for you to disable the notify.me tool bar associated with your account. You can do so by visiting the following url and clicking unchecking the enable toolbar option.
