Installation of Pro Photo Tools 2 was never a problem. I liked Pro Photo Tools 1.0 better than 2. I installed Pro Photo Tools 1.0 in XP Pro SP2 with no problem a year or so ago. It's still running under SP3 and all subsequent security patches. When I attempted to install Pro Photo Tools 1.0 in XP Pro SP3 with a bunch of security patches and hot fixes, I received the error: "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." I though Microsoft might be interested in this problem with one of their packages. Also, you don't have to scrub the heck out of the registry.
