Sorry about that. I'll work on a fix. If the plane is used for one of your flights you should be able to edit. I'll look into the problem.
In the mean time, go to the url for your aircraft and tack on "/edit" after the url.
For example: http://jetrecord.com/aircraft/24-4929...
You should be able to edit all aspects of the aircraft. Let me know if that doesn't work.

I'll have to look into it. Right now there are no plans as Facebook makes it pretty difficult to do anything with their data. With Flickr it's just a matter of calling a URL with a tag. But I will look into the effort involved. – Harry Love, on February 09, 2009 15:45

Harry Love asked a question in Widgetbox on February 06, 2009 18:35:
Invalid Checkbox ValuesHow does one set the value of a checkbox to false or null for unchecked values?
If you use an if statement to check for true/false, you get true when the checkbox is checked (assuming that's the default true value) but you get a blank when it is unchecked. This renders the JavaScript invalid and kills the rest of the script inside that script tag.
If the value is checked, you get a rendered
if (true) { do this ... }
If the value is not checked, you get
if() { do this ... }
which is invalid.

Harry Love asked a question in Widgetbox on January 30, 2009 20:44:
Viral installer previewHi. The viral installer how-to says it allows users to customize my widget on my web site but I don't see any interface for customizing the widget.
I have created, tested, and installed my HTML/JS widget. The widget is customizable with several options. (It looks nice on my site, btw. Thanks for making it so easy.)
I have copied the viral installer code and placed it on my web site. When I visit the page, all I see is the "Get Widget" button. When I click it, it shows me the interface to copy the code but I don't see any options for customizing the widget.
So I'm confused. How do users customize the widget on my web site? And how do they preview the widget before grabbing the code?

I'm taking a closer look at these and others offered by desktop software. Note that single-engine and multi-engine time is determined by the aircraft type on Jetrecord, so those will not be necessary. – Harry Love, on September 10, 2008 20:57
