I would not say I had a bad experience. I love the bus! I was frustrated when the bus drove on by. I was frustrated when my actions to ensure the next bus stopped were not appropriate according to the driver. There was not a suggestion of how to proceed. There still is not.
If the bus is full to capacity, maybe the front of the bus could indicate so. Maybe someone at HTA could answer the phone and explain what happened. The first thing I did was call.
Im not irate. Im not being unreasonable. I dont need to take the bus. Im on a rant and I want someone (future riders) to have satisfaction. Its too late for me.

Driver did not stop!On Saturday June 27th 2009 at the Northbound stop in Eureka at 5th & U Streets at 4:56PM the driver did not stop for three patrons that were visibly standing at the stop.
To ensure the last bus of the day stopped for me I stood in the lane of traffic as the bus approached and waved. I did not try to impede or stop traffic, just made sure there was no mistake that I was waiting for the bus. I did not put myself or the bus in danger.
This upset the driver and as I boarded he said if I do that again he would drive by. I told him that the driver drove by earlier and he said "Thats not my problem.".
Why are most bus drivers angry and have an (its not my problem) attitude?
Give them some incentive to be polite and professional. Maybe you could have mystery riders.
What kind of accountability do the drivers have?
Can you recommend ho I should have reacted or behaved? Why did the bus not stop?
