I got same problem after an automatic upgrade to 2.0.3
However by not clicking "close" the program does not shut down but the warning sign stays on which is a bother

I did just that but it did not work. I now went back to version 1.2.6., downloaded from the website. Works OK now. So no 2.0.3. for me !!! – hawcot, on January 16, 2009 03:05

I don't know the old version. I am using FLOCK after NETSCAPE stopped and always upgraded when advised to do without problems. The version I am upgrading to is 2.0.3. Operating system is Windows XP home edition.

I just did an automatic upgrade to Flock but can not use it anymore as it has a tells me it has a problem and appologizes for the inconvenience but has to shut down. The old version worked fine.
I shut down Trend internet safety program but that did not help
I am using Internet explorer now
