There were some odd issues with paths that I have improved with Mides 1.6, and I think squashed in Mides 1.6.1 ( sent to apple a few days ago )

In Mides 1.6.1 which should be coming out any moment now, I am encoding the username and password for downloads, which means, you should remove the percent escapes you have put in.

I have simplified and improved the connection logic, it should be better now, and much better in the upcoming 1.6.1 release ( I have already submitted it to Apple )
