Sandy is such a help! However she would be even more helpful if she had her own Mac (Dashboard) widget...

Just putting some more weight behind this... I would definitely love to see a Dashboard widget for Sandy.

Btw, considering hacking on our own: Sandy has a very good API available, just not using any of the fancy XML-RPC, REST, etc. stuff, doesn't she? She accepts email messages, so you just have to compose emails to her address!

*bump* in hopes of a fresher-than-6-months answer, and adding my voice to the fray.

This is more or less the last thing keeping me from converting entirely from stikkit to Sandy.

We just pushed an update to Sandy's servers which fixes the functionality, directions, links, and help page details for Sandy's Jott Link [http://iwantsandy.com/help/jott].

If you'd been trying unsuccessfully to set up a Sandy Jott Link, please visit http://iwantsandy.com/settings/jott and give it another whirl and you'll find that the whole process works like a charm.

Howdy, folks!

As with anything important, it's often a matter of capitalization.

It seems that Jott has updated their site in such a way that our directions are no longer strictly correct and expectations for what you bring back with you (in the URL) after setting up your Jott link are similarly off.

We'll get on fixing this in the morning, but in the meantime to get yourself going (if you don't mind a little harmless URL tweaking:

1. Point your browser at Sandy's Jott Link page over at Jott.com: http://jott.com/jottlink.aspx?linkid=15
2. Sign up or log in if you've not already done so.
3. Click the "Save" button.
4. You'll be redirected back to your Jott Settings page on iwantsandy.com.

Now at this point you'll see neither the radio button nor the Save button mentioned on the settings page. This is because Jott has renamed (recapitalized, actually) the key name Jott sends back with you: "userkey" rather than the "userKey" they had been sending.

No worries at all — you're a click and 3 taps away from being all set up and ready to go!

5. In your web browser's address bar, look around in that URL for the word "userkey" (without the quotes, that is) and replace it with "userKey" — note the capital "K" versus the lowercase "k". Hit the Enter/Return key and you should be exactly where you were supposed to be.
6. Click the "Yes" radio button.
7. Click the "Save" button.

And that's all there is to it: Jott to your heart's content...

When clicking over to Sandy from Jott, the 'yes' button is not being displayed so I cant even get as far as this person...
