Thanks for getting back to me. I didn't spot the ambiguity in the question. The website is going to be aimed at people local to Peckham, and so ideally I would like the map to start off zoomed into the Southwark area of London, so people don't have to navigate from a view of the world.

I don't want to default the location itself, just the zoom level and map centre.

Can this be done? TIA.

How do I change the default location of the maps in wordpress? I'm familar with PHP and don't mind fiddling about a bit...
