SocialThing should provide some form of visual feedback when the user needs to re-authenticate for some reason.
I couldn't read anything anyone was posting on twitter in SocialThing but has assumed it was just due to issues twitter seemed to be having. I then saw today however that other people where using it fine with no problem. So I decided I might try deleting and re-adding my twitter account to see if that fixed thing. To my shock, the account was sitting there stating "Reauthenticate".

The only sign I had that I needed to do this was when I looked at the account settings and saw that text. Would be a lot better if some message or something similar was displayed that you could see from the FriendStream when this was needed.

Can you make combining postings a bit smarter please?
It would that the combining of various feeds does not work if there's a time difference of more than a minute or so between fetching/viewing.

For an example I mainly use twitter and Pownce with SocialThing:
24 mins ago SocialThing checked my Pownce friends and found one update - and displayed the one new item.
A short time later I am informed that I have two updates from twitter. I check and find that the oldest one is the twitter version of the Pownce update. But instead of being combined with the Pownce version, it is it's only entity. So one new twitter post to read in fact.
A few mins later, I am informed that I have one new Pownce message to read. This Pownce message however turns out to be a copy of the youngest of the the two twitter messages before. Again this message has not been combined.

The interesting thing about this four messages is: when I look at my time line, SocialThink knows that the time of posting for the 1st pair was 32 mins ago, and the time of posting for the 2nd pair was 27 mins ago. It just hasn't combined them.

Interestingly enough I don't seem to run into this issue much if I'm haven't been logged into the site and I'm reading catchup on people's postings.

I guess in short I'm asking, could we have the combining be a little smarter please?

Post length bug with the iphone web-app.
It would seem that the iPhone version of the Socialthing website is limited to the twitter character limit. IE: On the normal site, I'm only limited to 140 characters if Twitter is listed as one of the services I intend to post to. On the iPhone version of the site however, even if I only intend to post to something like Pownce, it shows a character limit of 140.

How frequently are updated collected from Twitter?
Just wondering how often Socialthing updates the feeds from Twitter? The last message I have from a twitter friend is from an hour ago, while I have message showing in Twitter.com that are not on Socialthing from over 15 mins ago.
