The problem here is a limitation of facebook. They can't show flash directly so we have to use a "dummy" image before users click. Sorry...

Hi Devin & J-dubya,

sorry for my somewhat late reply. To share a set to an artist page you have to go through Facebook, this is how it's made.

1. Goto the application page: http://www.facebook.com/apps/applicat...

2. Click on add to page

3. Choose your track

4. Click save (And maybe Add to profile depending on if you have a track there already)

Regarding the search we have experimented with different setups to make it faster but due to current facebook limitations we haven't come up with the perfect way yet. So for now try to choose your search terms wisely to keep the no of hits down.

About the timeout indication, good suggestion. I will fix something to easier see the status of the search.

i'm sorry that you are experiencing problems. If we start with the creating waveform problem. If you go to your music page, does it still say "Creating waveform"? In that case, please send me your username and we will take a look at it. henrik@soundcloud.com. If not, it could just have taken some time to finish, we have a lot of uploads at the moment.

Then to the sharing on Facebook. The search function is a bit limited at the moment due to slow responses from our servers, this is being resolved at the moment but may take some days to be rolled out. There is a shortcut that you can take in the meantime. Go to the track you want on facebook at SoundCloud. Click the share button and then choose Share on Facebook. Now you will be taken to Facebook where you can save the track on your profile.

sorry but the Facebook app only supports one set or track at the moment. The feature to allow more is on the roadmap but unfortunately i can't say when it will be released.

seems like there was a problems somewhere in the chain of data being sent between us and facebook. I deployed a fix now and this should hopefully help. It's still a bit on the slow side (we are working on this) so have patience.

I misunderstood you before but now I get your problem. Facebook does not seem to reset the widgets when browsing around in the AJAX tabs (info, wall, boxes etc). So when you return after clicked another tab the flash starts over and autoplays, just like you experienced.

However, this is not a straightforward problem to solve. As i said, one solution is to remove the auto play but then everybody has to click twice to start a song which is not really good.

I have to think about this for a while, thanks for reporting this issue!

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. I did some brief research about your problem but could not find anything similar. A guess is that your browser freaked out somehow and did not unload the flash object properly. If you tell me a bit more about the environment you are using I could take a deeper look.
