Kara, you can edit the job to get rid of the coding.

The coding appears if you cut & paste from Microsoft Word or other writing software. MS Word adds a whole lot of random tags and formatting style used only for Word

Actually, TechEntreprise features is being used for Montreal only, so it will be a long time before Southern California is included.

So yes, an idea is to put a local adress somewhere in Montreal

Thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated, and I think it's because I supposed visitors and users knew all about montrealtechwatch

One thing that can be done is explain this more clearly on TechEntreprise so that people like you won't be confused next time. This would fit well on the frontpage, and people could understand in a glimpse the advantages and what's in it for them

Well with Facebook, you have to delve in and you need to be able to see what are the most relevant groups or events.

TechEntreprise allows you to see local technology events. You can't do that in LinkedIn or Facebook.

You can also see local tech entrepreneurs in Montreal. You can't do that in Facebook or LinkedIn

1. when you click on a button, there's now a graphical feedback (a spinner) while the website computes your request. should fix the no-response problem

2. now, your attendance status in now highlighted in bright blue, while the other buttons are in faded blue, so you can see in a glance if you've signed up or not. hope it's ok for you
