I tried deleting the feed, and adding it back again. It pulled the last item in the feed, and then it stopped. It is set to update every half hour, and it's been several hours since it pulled from the feed. I'm posting to Twitter account brycehaymond.

One of my feeds hasn't updated since Oct. 17th, and today is the 20th. It is set to update every hour. I checked the feed itself, and it is working properly. Why isn't TwitterFeed pulling the feed? The last status was:

I've done some more experimenting, and this might have something to do with the way InDesign exports PDFs that Issuu doesn't like. I tried "printing" to the Adobe PDF printer to produce the PDF, and when uploaded, it didn't have the same problem. It kept all of my vector graphics intact. So there might be a problem with the way Issuu handles PDFs exported from InDesign.

Active Links with ampersand character change when uploaded/converted

I have a PDF document that has active links in it. When I upload it to Issuu, it changes the URLs of the embedded links. The change happens only on ampersand characters (&) in the URL. The ampersands are changed to the HTML code for the ampersand (& with amp;) but this unfortunately breaks all my links. I can see that the URL is changed in the Issuu viewer when I hover over the link. So for example:

http://www.domain.com/some&page

is changed to

http://www.domain.com/some& amp;page (without the space)

My URLs need the true ampersand in order to function properly. Is there a way to fix this?

I'm getting an error when uploading a PDF:

"Parts of your document was replaced with bitmaps

Because of conversion trouble, we had to replace the following page(s) with bitmap image(s) instead of vector graphics: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10.

If you're not happy with the result, you can try and simplify the vector graphics on the mentioned page(s) in the original file and upload again."

I'm using InDesign and exporting in the correct PDF format (v1.5). There are no complex vector graphics in my document, mostly just text. What is the problem that causes the document to be all converted to bitmaps?

It would be nice to be able to control if the widget shows any suggestions at all, since the ones showing will naturally have a higher voting rate than the ones that don't. This skews which topics readers truly want to vote for. Maybe allow for just a suggestion box only?
