I totally agree with InfernalMachine and anaverageamerican. Thank you Hubdub for caring about my issue and fast correction. I must appologize for my anger, I was just so frustrated to be finally making a little bit of cash and to see it all disappear on every attempt to cash in. At that point I could no longer wager on any question without taking a loss instead of my expected gain, the only way left to me to profit was to let the question sit until settlement... Thanks again!

What is the point of even having a cash in button if you will never know that when you click it for X dollars whether you will end up getting X dollars that you agreed to or end up getting Y dollars or Z dollars in the hole?? Who can possibly know what value you will end up with if the program does not give you what you agree too???????

behind your back...cashing inI've had it with HUBDUB! I don't care how fast changing or volatile a market is (Will the DOW Jones Industrial Average close at or above 12,500 on 02/13/2008?)....If I choose to "cash in" at +389 within secs of loading the cash in page I should get +389 not docked 261 behind my back because the market changed before I could even click the "cash in" button! If the marked has changed that fast then the program should reflect that and ask again if I wish to cash in or not. What is the point of even playing a market if you agree to one price and before you can blink you end up with a completely different price and not be able to get a word in edgewise........

Excellent idea, for me anyway cause I really do not care at this point what will happen beyond the next few months let alone far off stuff in 2017, ie (Will the JFK Assassination Records be COMPLETELY released to the public before the 2017 anniversary?) and don't wish to have to slog through questions I care nothing about.
heyy_joe shared an idea in Hubdub on February 08, 2008 07:30:
Correct categoriesI like the General category but it is being clogged up with questions from every other category! I realize there may be some uncertainty to some questions as to the correct category but the General category is overfilled with questions that obviously belong in a specific category. If I wanted to wade through superbowl and daytona 500 questions I would go to the Sports category. If I cared about the Dow jones or Yahoo takeover bid I would go to Business category. If I can't get enough of republican or democrat delegates and nomination questions I would go to Politics. If I love questions about box office receits and Brittany Spears I would go to Entertainment category etc., etc.. Why are these questions all being assigned "business, general" or "sports, general" or whatever categories? Can the General category not be used for general questions only? I think it would be nice to either have specific category type questions either moved to the correct category by HUBDUB or better yet to remove the ability to select the general category if any other category is assigned-
