A comment on the idea "font size on tabbar, combobox control, slider and many other controls" in Balsamiq:
Giacomo. Thank you very much. You mockup tool is really the best.
I made quite a few converts at my company (who bought a few copies of your tool) and Balsamiq mockups are all over the place now. The time saved is counted in days.
I installed and tested the pre-release and there is a bug.
Here are steps to reproduce:
1. Add Tab Bar (or Button Bar or Vertical Tabs) to the Canvas.
The font on the control is bold by default
2. Click on the control to set focus then on property inspector
You will see the "B" of the bold control highlighted.
3. Toggle the "B" (bold control) so its no longer highlighted.
The TabBar font turns normal
3. Remove focus from TabBar by click on the Canvas.
4. Click and set focus to the TabBar.
Now look at the property inspector.
The "B" of bold control is highlighted. – hipbaq, on February 12, 2009 23:04

The default font Mockups set is bold for some of the controls.
IMHO, font weight and size is HIGHLY useful to indicate prominence of specific elements in the mockup. For example in my mockup, boldness of a tab is used to demostrate that settings on it have been set.
I'd suggest that if controls for fonts are not going to be implemented it would be then best to add a "normal font" modifier to rich text editing control. The user can apply formatting on demand them while keeping controls clean. – hipbaq, on February 12, 2009 04:24

font size on tabbar, combobox control, slider and many other controlsThere seems to be lack of font controls for many elements (tabbar, accordion and many other). By default the font on many of the controls is bold and rich text formatting does not allow for something to be set to normal size.
I have to edit the .bmml file directly and set false on a tabbar control I am using. Can we get font controls for all these elements as they appear to support them already.
Is there a particular reason why font controls are not there by default?
