Yes, it's tagged with a due date in reQall but it's not sync'd into my Outlook calendar as an appointment. According to the reQall manual (and the FAQ's on the website), the only way to get an item listed as an appointment on the calendar (either Outlook or Google calendar), is to use the keyword "meeting" or "meet with."
hiramp replied on September 30, 2009 18:39 to the question "How are Evernote items related?" in reQall:
I think your search criteria may be set a little broad. For example, I've got the following reQall reminder since I'm hoping for the big win: "Remember to buy lottery tickets tomorrow at 4:30 pm"
What I get as related items in Evernote have no bearing whatsoever. For example, here are the Evernote items listed in reQall as "related:"
1. Geek to Live: Transform your Xbox into a media center (a webpage)
2. Greenhouse Gas Protocol (a webpage)
3. Current Desktop (a screen image)
4. Car Insurance Card (a scanned copy of my auto insurance card)
It appears from a quick word search of each of the Evernote pages that Item 1 was deemed to be related because the word "to" was found in "Geek to Live" and "into".
Item 2 was apparently related because the letter combination "to" was found in the word "Protocol."
Item 3 was apparently related because "to" was found in "desktop."
Item 4 was related (I guess) because it found the number "4" in one of my car's VIN numbers.
In fact, it seems that the "Geek to Live" Evernote shows up as related on every reQall item that begins with "Remember to ..."
Here's my suggestions:
a. Remove "to" as a search term since it's about as common as "the" "an" and "a".
b. Set the search to only search whole words, not terms within words. If my reQall reminder is to "Remember to pay the rent," I shouldn't get "Current Desktop" as a related item simply because "current" contains the word "rent".
That's my 2 cents so far!

hiramp asked a question in reQall on September 28, 2009 18:47:
How are Evernote items related?I think the Evernote integration is great and it has started showing up in my reQall items. Sometimes the related items are spot on, and sometimes it seems to throw in everything including the kitchen sink and I get a a ton of "related items" that really aren't.
Can you shed some light into the process that reQall uses to determine whether an Evernote item is related or not? In other words, can you provide some advice on how to structure reQall items in order to improve the quality of the related items?
Thanks.

There's a programming "law" that says "all programs eventually expand to the point that they can read email."
I'd strongly advise keeping things simple. The more stuff you add, the more "clunky" things get. It's like the Swiss Army knives that include all kinds of gadgets -- none of which really work well.

Modifying reQall Item Options DirectlyWhy is there a separate Edit function for reQall items? When you go to the Details section of an item, you can mark the item as "completed" simply by pressing (ie: "clicking") on the "pending" button. Why can't you modify the other options (ie: due date, location, etc) the same way? Having a separate "edit" button at the bottom just adds another keystroke (or fingerstroke).
hiramp replied on September 17, 2009 18:54 to the problem "Evernote is linked, but Reqall doesn't find anything similar" in reQall:
Thanks Deb -- the only problem is that I have tried going into the Details screen but nothing shows up there either (not counting the popup box that says "No Related Itmes"). I don't think reQall really is linking to Evernote at this point. I've got the latest version of iPhone OS and upgraded my version of reQall this morning.
Still, since this is a new feature, I've got no problem waiting a couple of days for the coders to debug.
I'll keep checking.

Same problem. The "Related Items" button in reQall is grayed out -- even though I set up several notes in Evernote with specific tags that matched the items in reQall.
I've got a reQall PRO account and have enabled the Evernote link via the Settings tab on the reQall website.
However, I don't have an Evernote Pro account, only the free version. Would that make a difference? I shouldn't think so since reQall only has read access.
So I have the same question Mike has. Any ideas?

A comment on the question "Getting reQall tasks on my Iphone calendar WITHOUT syncing with a pc" in reQall:
Thanks for the suggestion Lee. I had already tried that but was not satisfied with the length of time it took Google to update its calendar. Also, I had it sync with my iphone via the push feature. Once my items eventually showed up on Google, they were immediately pushed to the iphone. However, I noticed that the power on my iphone was being sucked down pretty quickly so I disconnected it.
I've gotten to where I'm using reQall is my "command central" to keep track of my todo's and appointments. The only drawback is when someone asks, "Are you open on the 18th?" There's no way for me to answer that question right now without having to scroll through all of my reQall entries. THAT's where a calendar function comes in handy!
I guess if it was easy, it would already be done... – hiramp, on August 28, 2009 17:42
A comment on the idea "Make Autosave a Program Setting" in reQall:
Yep, I've tried the eye-free feature. The problem I have with it is that the EureQa box pops up right in the middle of it making it difficult to see what's going on since one box overlaps the other. Similarly, I've "shaken" the iphone trying to get a EureQa suggestion only to have the eyes-free recording box come up. I eventually had to turn off the EureQa feature because having both on doesn't work well. Unfortunate since I obviously want to take advantage of every feature the program offers. – hiramp, on August 26, 2009 13:09

Make Autosave a Program SettingWhen you add an item via voice on the iPhone, you get a 5 second countdown during which you can tap the screen to manually tell reQall where to place the item. Otherwise, it "autosaves" and decides what kind of item it is (to do, meeting, etc) based on the keywords the item contains.
So far, I've always used the autosave feature (I think that's one of the main selling points of the program to begin with) so that 5-sec delay before I can enter the next item is a real pain.
How about making this (autosave) an option that i can turn on or off in the program settings? If I have it turned on, all of my entries would be autosaved (and auto-classified). Other people who don't like this feature (and who apparently have lots of time on their hands :) ), can turn the option off and manually edit what type of item they're entering.
A comment on the question "sync with iPhone Calendar App" in reQall:
Now that's slick! The only problem I have is that sync'ing this way uses Exchange. My company email also uses Exchange. The iPhone only allows ONE Exchange account so I have to chose one or the other.... – hiramp, on August 25, 2009 22:25
hiramp replied on August 25, 2009 21:52 to the question "Getting reQall tasks on my Iphone calendar WITHOUT syncing with a pc" in reQall:
Man, that would be great! Right now, I enter todo's in reQall on my iphone, it then syncs with the website, which then syncs to Outlook on my desktop, which then syncs (via iTunes) to my iphone whenever I plug it in via cable (whew!). Anything you can do to reduce the number of steps would be ideal.
I've always felt that the one thing that reQall lacks is the ability to show meetings and date-driven todo's -- especially those in the future -- in a calendar-type of interface instead of in a simple list.
Instead of "reinventing the wheel," finding a way to get calendared reQall events to show up on the iphone calendar application would be (I think) the best way to go.
