I'm not sure if this solve your problem but can you try to remove several cache data stored in /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe

Some issue related ELS was solved by removing:

/Users/<username>//Library/Application Support/Adobe/AIR/ELS/com.adobe.amp.xxx.../*

Also try removing AMP cache and prefs files in:

/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Media Player/Local Store/...

Thank you for let us know your issue on AIR product. We tested Mac OS X (pre-release version of) 10.6 before we release AIR 1.5.2. We didn't encounter a crash with Adobe Media Player then. Today I tried updated 10.6 to 10.6.1 and seeing Adobe Media Player working fine. I also tried B alsamiq Mockups which is working fine too.

We would look into this compatibility issue more closely. Does Adobe Media Player never work on your 10.6.1 OS so far? or it can work after e.g. reboot?
