I also dislike the idea of a software update notifier - mainly because I have experimented other update notifiers like UpdateStar and Software Informer, and found that I did not actually use them. Hi, to update on this problem... I noticed that for a week or so, I didn't have further problems with these despite downloading several files. However today I noticed while downloading a file from SourceForge that it was tracking my download again. Is this significant? Hope it helps :)

I just sent a 'Quick Feedback' from my RescueTime dashboard about this a few days ago. I've noticed since then that everytime I download a file, long after it has been downloaded, RescueTime will track all my Firefox time as the downloaded file.

Now if I want my URLs tracked correctly, I have to restart Firefox after downloading a file. (Good thing FF 3 saves my tabs!)

I am using FF 3.03 and have Download Statusbar 0.9.6.3

I have the same type of problem, regarding dealing with local files. I am using the ScrapBook extension for Firefox 3 and have been organising the scraps I've collected. I'm not sure what site the time has been assigned to but would like a clarification on this as well.

I've noticed too that despite the number of times I open Chip's Challenge for a few minutes' play, I have never seen Chips.exe on my list of apps. Hmmm.
