Bummer -- I think Timbuk2 is going to miss the mark on this if they don't jump in the game. Having to pull laptops out at all is a hassle...and bags that will allow people to not have to fool with this will win out for regular traverlers.

The new checkpoint-friendly ones don't require you to remove your laptop from the bag -- I'm guessing you can't do that with the Commute, is that correct?

I'm looking for a Timbuk2 checkpoint-friendly bag for air travel. Do you have plans to design one and have it approved by TSA? I'd really rather have a cool Timbuk2 bag than be forced to buy a Skooba or the like...help??
