I uninstalled comodo firewall, installed zonealarm and 24 hours later zonealarm finally asked if I wanted to allow adobe air and then tweetdeck. Both now are working.

I'm unsure why even with the firewall off, Air and Tweetdeck were unable to access the web.

Same issue from Australia. SMS not getting to twitter. I'm on Virgin Mobile (which piggybacks on Optus network).

I've been having this problem too. However it also happens with Twhirl and Alert Thingy so I think it's an issue with Adobe Air not connecting to the web. I haven't found a solution anywhere.

I'm on Vista. Have tried turning firewall off. Reinstalled Adobe air and tweetdeck. No Banana.

No air apps which require web access (Twhirl, Tweetdeck, Alert Thingy) are able to connect.

This problem has only developed recently.

This happens with the firewall on or off.

I have reinstalled Adobe Air and the apps in question.

I am running Windows Vista with all latest updates.
