Kensington needs to get back to their roots! Back when they built the first and best mice specifically for the Mac, focussing on design and innovation instead of finding cheap Chinese knockoffs, they were actually a pretty successful company. ACCO, who bought Kensington dismantled them within less than a year and started chasing the low end PC market. Surprisingly, or not, they have failed to compete effectively with Logitec. I've met with both companies on various occassions and while I don't "get" logitec, they've been aces at executing their plans.

Back to Kensington, I don't even know if they have any Mac engineers left, but I do hold out some hope that they'll start paying attention to the Mac again and get back on top of that market. Apple has left huge gaps in Mice, Keyboards, Trackballs, and Tablets, and Kensington, if there's anything left of the original visionary company could capitalize on the resurgent growth of the Mac platform. They've put forth a good first effort in the iPod space, but really need to get sharp with product designs, innovations, and marketing. Many companies that started out with a smaller footprint, like Griffin (I remember they made video adapters and that was it!), are now holding an advantage in that market.

Sorry, very distracted today, but I echo the hope that they get back to work on supporting Macs. I use MouseWorks on newer and older Macs and long to either get constraint controls (hold modifier, Mouse moves in only one direction), triple click (where'd that go!?), and precision mousing (hold modifier, mouse moves verrrry slowy) back into the software, or find another mousing package that gives me application specific controls.
