It seems like tumblr won't import the feed unless it has some content. So if you've just recently added your tumblr tag to your photos, wait for the feed to update before trying to import it.

The Facebook RSS import only imports notes as text (no links, images, videos etc.).

Guess it's a Facebook issue since Google Reader shows Tumblr feeds fine.
