I can access via slandr.net (and using twitterberry on my blackberry). I've tried with the firewall on and off on my computer, and it makes no difference.

Unfortunately, to open a support ticket, the link takes you to support.twitter.com. I cannot access the twitter.com domain at all.

Why can I not access twitter with a desktop client or web?

I usually use tweetdeck to access twitter. A few days ago, I stopped getting updates from twitter, and I could no longer post. I tried accessing twitter from the web, but I time out every time I try to go to twitter.com. I cannot even go to the help page on twitter.

I can access twitter from a mobile client, though.

Any ideas?

SMS setup created a duplicate account

I was going through the setup so I could twitter from my phone. I never received a reply once I sent the code, and I read on a similar issue here that I should text "help" to 40404.

I did, and received a reply, so I tried sending a sms. That created a duplicate account. My name is hubcitymac, and the account hubcitymac1 was created.

BTW, I still have not received a reply after sending a sms for device setup.

That is exactly the way I've been changing the icon. How else do you change the icon once the SSB is generated?

I've chosen some hi-res icons for the SSB's I've made with Fluid. As you would expect, these icons appear in the dock when the SSB is opened.

However, as soon as I click anywhere in the SSB's window, the site's favicon appears in the dock, replacing the hi-res icon I had selected (only in the dock; not the SSB's icon in finder).
