Don't know if everyone has seen this or not, but Twitter has a page dedicated to a missing tweets problem within their Support pages:
http://help.twitter.com/forums/31935/...
Hoping this is related/the-same issue :)

hughdickson asked a question in Twitter on August 10, 2009 19:56:
When is the limit of ten saved searches going to be increased? The current limit for saved searches is remarkably low.
If it was limited to fifty saved searches I would have been shocked, but ten is just unthinkable.
"You can only save ten searches. To remove a saved search, select the search and click remove this saved search."

Hi Thomas, thanks a lot for coming on here and commenting. It's great that you guys are keeping on top of all the support queries here (i.e. in GetSatisfaction).
Jazza, I actually saw your message a while ago, but forgot to submit the suggestion to the Twitter GetSatisfaction account. I've now (just) done it :)
I'll update this entry on what they say, but here is the entry incase anyone wants to view or show their support: Monitoring of unseen tweets.
Thanks again.

Feature suggestion: Monitoring of 'unseen' tweets done on Twitter server, rather than locally in a Twitter client like TwhirlThere is a really great feature in Twhirl that displays a small yellow star at the top right of all new and 'unseen' tweets - which I'll call the tweet's 'unseen status'.
I think it would be really great if the Twitter servers would monitor each tweet's 'unseen status', rather than it being done on the local machine, via a Twitter client like Twhirl.
(The guys at Twhirl sensibly pointed out that this 'unseen status' feature needs to be in Twitter before they can add it to Twhirl)
This feature would help tremendously when going from one machine to another (from work to home for instance) - when both machines have Twhirl logged into the same Twitter account.
The Twitter client could update the Twitter software (on the server), on which tweets had been 'seen' locally - and this could be done at the same time that the normal network-API-requests/auto-refreshes happen.
I've included two images to illustrate what I mean by this 'seen' flag...
This 1st image shows when a single tweet is cliked, and therefore marked as 'seen':
This 2nd image shows the button that marks all tweets as 'seen':
hughdickson marked one of Amir Salihefendic's replies in Plurk as useful. Amir Salihefendic replied to the problem "I can't see my timeline or anyone elses timeline! ):". hughdickson and 3 other people think it's one of the best replies.

Same here; I DON'T have the POMG extension, but am still experiencing the problem. – hughdickson, on July 24, 2008 23:01
hughdickson replied on July 23, 2008 10:34 to the problem "Invalid pop-up behavior" in Plurk:
I was about to submit pretty much exactly the same issue, and nearly in the same kind of wording :)
I hadn't noticed that preloading height thing, but I agree, that's probably a main part of the issue.
I also had screenshots from Opera, so I'll only attach the screenshot of what it looks like in Firefoz 3.0.1, just as a comparison. I've blacked out friends usernames.
My account is http://www.plurk.com/user/hughnichols - incase that's helpful to support team.

Hugh.-

I'm also having this problem.
Amir, I don't know about shootingasterisk or Blue, but I'm only seeing this issue in Mozilla Firefox (3.0.1) - on Microsoft Windows XP Pro. Timeline is working fine in Opera 9.5.
I've tried reloading plurk.com several times, and in several ways, but still not seeing the timeline.
I've attached two images of my timeline, one is the way it looks in Opera, the other is the way it looks in Firefox.
Regards,
Hugh.-

Feature suggestion: Marking of new tweets as unseen done on server rather than locallyThe new feature of displaying a small green dot at the top right of tweets is great (the tweet's unseen status).
I think it could be even better if the monitoring of the each tweet's unseen status was done on the server, rather than the local machine.
This would help when moving from one machine to another (from work to home for instance), but when both machines have Twhirl logged into the same Twitter account.
The Twhirl client could update the server on which tweets had been 'seen' (locally), when the normal regular network-request/auto-refresh happens.-
