Casey, I've transferred one of my 1.0 wikis ( https://seagarden.pbwiki.com ) over using the beta-testing goodness (among other things) but I plum forgot about a second one I have (clearly, not a top priority). Should I just sign up in that switch form you linked to, or do I have to do something else? Thanks so much! – Emily Hummel, on June 22, 2008 17:02

Rachel: Awesome! If a work-around isn't possible, using Firefox (now v. 3!) for my wiki is working just dandy... so I'll just keep using that. Thanks! – Emily Hummel, on June 18, 2008 15:49

Hi Emily, Thanks for the clarification! This has been reported in our bug tracking system as #886, and it appears that Safari does not support the click and drag image resizing. I'll add your comments to the ticket, and hopefully we'll be able to come up with a work-around for you :) – Rachel Pennig, on June 18, 2008 15:45

Rachel: I am using 2.0, with a platinum wiki. I mostly use Firefox, since I have quite a few images, but every once in a while, I forget, open Safari, and while everything else in 2.0 works *fantastically,* it's just the image re-sizing that doesn't appear to work. Sorry about not being clear -- I'll blame it on the early hour when I posted! :) – Emily Hummel, on June 18, 2008 15:41

Hi Danielle, Do you get any specific error message? Can you tell me what version of Safari you are using? Thanks! – Rachel Pennig, on June 18, 2008 15:16

Hi Emily, PBwiki 1.0 does not support the use of Safari as an editor - is it possible to use another browser? Or, you can update your wiki to PBwiki 2.0 (which does support Safari) by going to www.pbwiki.com/2 – Rachel Pennig, on June 18, 2008 15:15

The silly %27 is a URL escape sequence, and is in fact the solution to your problem:

What if we *need* apostrophes in our page titles?Ok. I know that apostrophes cannot be used in page titles (though if they are, it turns them into a silly "%27," but I wanted to start talking on possible solutions for page titles that *need* apostrophes.
I think it's fine that the urls have no apostrophes (no need!), but it is the translation to the automatic "title" of the page that is a sticky wicket. I know this doesn't sound clear, but I've made one of my wiki pages public to clarify:
https://seagarden.pbwiki.com/Sylviana...
It's the orange text to which I refer -- in this case, it looks sloppy if I can't use an apostrophe in the possessive sense... Is there any way we could make those titles of pages separate from the exact URL?
(pretty please? :) )
Also, if it's of any concern, I'm using a 2.0 wiki, and I'm platinum.
