No it's a different issue. My timeline won't show some tweets but the user's profile page will. It's not the "sticky old update" problem described in that thread. Thanks for trying though, appreciate it. – iamvinnie, on September 18, 2008 13:58

The last few days I've noticed missing tweets from my timeline, i.e. only seeing some of a person's tweets. Initially I thought it was an SMS issue but device updates are on for these people, and I'm also missing tweets when I check the twitter website. Apparently I'm not the only one and it's happening with other clients too like Twitterrific.

Here are some others complaining about it:

Any ideas as to what's going on? It's really confusing some of us. Thanks!

This annoys the hell out of me too. I know the "old way" with protected users wasn't very well done but this new one-way following sucks for the rest of us.

I have 3 bots registered but only 2 in active use. I'm not sure if they'd fall under "free" usage on your post-beta model or not. 8 or so people using the bots but no commercial usage.

I see good things in the tweetbots service but I don't think my goofy use is something I'd pay for either, you know?
