Facebook integration (Videos and Photos)A popular request in the forums is to have Facebook integration. This would probably take the form of two applications. One for videos and one for photos.
Thoughts?

Option to disable applications which users are not interested inAs i'm in the UK, a lot of the video content (and quite possibly audio) content will not work for me. And there are some applications which i'm simply not interested in.
I would like the option of disabling undesired applications in settings.

'Play Random Episode' on a TV ShowI found a useful function in an application for Windows Media Center which had an option called 'Play Random Episode'
I found this very useful for when I wanted to sit down and just watch an episode of simpsons / family guy etc etc without going and picking it... Just select a TV Show, and play random episode... perfect! I really miss this feature :( please consider adding it :D-

Application: ITV PlayerITV have VERY recently introduced their own ITV Player. It works in a simmilar fashion to the BBC iPlayer. It uses Silverlight 2 to deliver it's video content... Should be a great addition to Boxee...

Application: 4 on DemandTo increase the support for the UK market, would it be possible for you to investigate including 4OD? (Channel 4 on Demand) as an application within Boxee?

TV Show specials support when showing listingsTheTVDB.com's 'Special' episodes for TV Shows include the ability to tell you when the special aired.
XBMC supports this functionality and reflects it by integrating a special episode inside the season when it was aired.
e.g.
Furutama Special 1 - Benders Big Score comes after Season 5... So in XBMC, Season 5 has this episode at the end as such:
(rest of season)
15 - Bender Should Not Be Allowed On TV
16 - The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings
S1 - Bender's Big Score
S2 - The Best With a Billion Backs
I think organising special episodes like this is a great idea. Any episodes which do not have any indication of when they aired should be left in their own 'Specials' season folder (which is currently referred to in Boxee as Season 0)

I'm not assuming people will be running it on their main machine. I'm assuming they will get inexpensive, but modern, hardware. I would imagine lots of people will jump at the chance to get HD content on their HDTV... Don't forget that it's a bad decision to spend a great deal of time on a feature for the minority of consumers... Boxee is a company after all.

I think porting Boxee to PPC will be... not a waste... but a misuse of your resources.
Your team need to look at the market. How much of it is PPC; and how many (I bet the vast majority) of other users will be annoyed because you didn't implement x feature to support this platform...
Just my 2 cents.. I'm sure if i had a PPC i'd want it lol-
