I know of one company that http://www.appsmagnet.com/ that has shown interest in this project when he realized the lack of solutions in this area.
I hope they will create a similar product - they offer superior support by far. I have had a few discussions with the main developer specifically about this module. Last I checked, it was not high on the to-do list but he was unaware of the lack of support or options for a similar solution.
They are not taking custom work right now, but if there is as high of a demand for this app as I think there is... Nirav with appsmagnet is more than capable of creating something far superior to this one, and this fits his niche well.
(Look up his "Get Satisfaction" and take a peek as his modules created for active collab)
Nirav, I hope you don't mind me pitching this for my own benefit... but here is your possible public out-cry for a timer plug-in solution.
Regards,
Landon Shipman

I think it is sad that people spent money on this, and support guys ARE indeed around, personally emailed me... but refuse to asnwer questions about support. I hope that no one is still paying anything for this worthless module. The last post here does not work with new versions, and it has beeen four months since anyone from this company has bothered to respond to a support question. They should take their sales page down at least. I wish someone would do it for them.-

ROY!
Are you a business owner who accepts credit cards I would assume?
If so, you probably already realize that your purchase is guaranteed.
I am not suggesting that you do anything unfair, but I beleive that you should get a full refund personally. But anyone that paid for this should be credited back on this.
Most merchant agreements state that product and service providers meet the customer's satisfaction. Burden of proof is on you and I as business owners. Same should be the tru for Volovo. I know my merchant provider and would force me to stop doing business if I provided a product like this with no support.
Maybe future dissapointments can be avoided with these posts, and if not... a few calls demanding refunds from your credit card company... may force him to stop selling these.
It does not appear that here has been any real activity on this product in over a year, I wish someone would just force him to stop all sales until this is resolved.
It is important to note - that active collab does not list this vendor, it really is too bad though. Such a simple tool - you would not expect it to be so problematic.

Landon Shipman| i.D.zynes replied on July 18, 2009 01:52 to the idea "MIS Reports - Project Costing, Profitability" in appsMagnet:
the most interesting concept here is that quickbooks and ms accounting makes cost vs price almost impossible for the people who are using aC.
When setting up profitability reports in standard accounting software, it assumes a product or service is always the same price. And that a list of products and services with a price is manageable.
The biggest advantage to adding this feature, in my humble opinion, is simple. In addition to a standard list of products or services (with cost and price) -- you should consider the option of allowing users to adjust cost and price on the fly.
Your accounting systems should not handle this feature, and the feature would not replace an accounting system...
Does this make sense? If not, I can go into more details... can anyone else in here confirm that this is true about accounting systems?

Plays with aC?IS this a solution deigned to work with activeCollab? I am sorry, but I cannot find the details on the product from here.
Thanks in advance.
Landon Shipman| i.D.zynes replied on July 13, 2009 08:15 to the problem "ActiveCollab integration error" in Colovo:
activecollab is incredible when it comes to support, i dont know why I just assumed this would be a simple fix.... Wonder how much time before aC addst this anyway, code should be simple enough for my developers to knock out if not.
I purchased the corporate aC within hours of testing, no extension... because the support is incredible. I did not expect that much out of this developer, or any other... but the lack of a single response indicates this operation has either already died - should be dropped - and is beyone his capability.
