igufi reported a problem in Twones on September 18, 2009 07:57:
No tracking with XP & Firefox 3.5.3Just signed up last night and a quick testing with iTunes (on mac) worked perfectly.
However, today after installing the Twones addon to my XP laptop's Firefox 3.5.3 I haven't been able to get any songs played via itunes, Grooveshark or Finetune to register on Twones (the addon just says 'Now Playing: idle').
The Twones icon shows up on the Firefox bar but not on the system tray.
Edit 2: results of further testing:
- Services that work with Twones: muxtape, blip.fm, songza (only imeem stuff, not youtube), skreemr, hypem, myspace, ilike, pitchforkTV, pay.it, winamp
- Services that don't work with Twones: lastfm, itunes, finetune, grooveshark, youtube

Good news! I decided to re-install all the plugins etc. to make sure there were no errors during the transfers of all the scripts. After re-installation and clearing the browser cache Intense Debate started working without any issues! No idea what caused the previous problems but I'm just happy that it finally works.
Special thanks to db0 and Michael for helping me out.

I just found another thread which mentioned that the WP bug had been fixed. I managed to download and finish the whole installation procedure but nothing is shown on the blog (I can see the Intense Debate <div> being added to the end of the post in the source code but it is not visible to the end user). Any ideas?
I realize that this is now a different problem than the topic states and if the ID-devs prefer, I can move this to another thread?

You're probably right - we just have to wait for the devs to return from holidays. Btw, the oops(2) -error does crop up even on the WP install, but only when you view a individual post (mine appears on the sidebar). – igufi, on July 07, 2008 11:02

Well, I used the "install intense debate now"-link from the dashboard. Are there other tools besides that for defining the blogs you want to use ID with? – igufi, on July 07, 2008 10:25

Can you be a bit more specific what this reinstall procedure means as I cannot seem to find any reference to it? Since the installation fails every time, the Intense Debate dashboard does not show that I would have any blogs installed so perhaps this "reinstall" option is not available for me..? – igufi, on July 07, 2008 06:30
igufi marked one of Anahi's replies in Twitter as useful. Anahi replied to the problem "Restore process has me in an infinite loop. I want to restore a freshly (3 days) deleted account.".

WP 2.5.1 installation "you accountid is invalid"I'm getting an error when trying to install Intense Debate on my wordpress blog (v. 2.5.1). Here are the details:
1. blog is at http://www.janignatius.fi/blog
2. I'm able to follow the installation procedure until the point after I've activated the plug-in and click "finish" on the Intense Debate install-page.
3. The error is "Your accountid is invalid"
I wonder if the problem is with the tool that creates the custom plugin? Here are the parameters from the beginning of the php-file:
define('IDC_URL', 'http://www.intensedebate.com/');
define('IDC_ACCT', 'aa6305892878bf714eb26dbf50d2a43c');
define('IDC_BLOGID', '0');
I'd love to get the comments working asap.. any ideas on how to fix this?

Same problem here.
Started out as a problem of registering my mobile number with a new account (though the old account was deleted the mobile number was still in in their system) and having read the instruction here to restore the old account and delete the mobile number entry.. Tried restoring, got all the way to the point of received three separate emails all having different temporary passwords -- but using any of them just redirected me to the "deleted!"-page.
I've sent couple of emails to support@twitter.com but no reply so far (or even any kind of acknowledgment like "thank you for your email, we'll get back to you..").
Here are the details:
old account: igu077
new account: igufi
As said, I don't really need the old account for any other purpose than to delete the gsm-number so that I could use it with my new account.
ps. I tried filing a twitter help ticket but never received any "key" via email to follow the progress the ticket (or if was even ever received!).
