Thanks for getting it taken care of Eric. To resolve this issue in the future:
1) Put user initiated sign-ups in the Account Settings -> Employee of section. If a fairly advanced user cannot find it, it doesn't exist.
2) Allow invite emails to add email accounts to preexisting user ID's.
3) Do some UI testing, this place, is very difficult to get around, and you would experience less bounce.
Trust me, it's what I do ; )
Zachary Lym reported a problem in Get Satisfaction on December 03, 2008 18:27:
Signed up, added as admin to a different email, deleted account, resigned up, fubarI asked my boss to make me an admin, but he sent a link to a different email address than the one I signed up with. When I clicked on the link in the Get Satisfaction email it asked me to resign up. After poking around in my old account I deleted it, hoping I could just resign up. I signed up with my old username, and now everything is totally FUBAR.
The company is http://getsatisfaction.com/mozilla/pr...
my username is Indolering
email I ORIGNALLY signed up with is [private information removed]
The email my boss added is [private information removed]
Could you fix this?
Thanks,
-Zak
