Regarding the WP2.5 timeline, we're working hard to have it ready for the time when WP 2.5 goes "final/stable". Hopefully we'll be able to give it out to you before that.

Can't wait for WP2.5 support - this extension sounds really interesting, but I have migrated all my blogs to 2.5-trunc :-(

hm, yes, this is actually almost WP2.5, the extension doesn't work there yet.... we will support this very shortly... ;) _very_ shortly.

I have Wordpress 2.4 self hosted, but I cannot see the zemanta sidebar. The admin layout is pretty different from the wordpress.com one (don't know if it is normal or it is due to the fact that my own version has been taken from SVN)

You can check my blog at www.theoddstrader.com, it doesn't seem to work at all. I have installed Zemanta in Firefox but i doesn't show up in Wordpress.

Yeah we don't support 2.5 release candidates yet, but we are working on that one too!

Can you point us to your wordpress blog address, and tell us the version of wordpress you are using? Did you do any special changes to the installation?
