Thanks! You were right about Socialtoo- there is a setting that you can change to do not automatically follow those that follow you so I did not have to change my Twitter password but that worked!! – infosourcer, on December 29, 2008 08:53

I am having the following issue for a while now: When people follow me, it seems there is a setting that makes me follow them automatically back. I need to to manually look at the profiles and see if I want to indeed follow them. Can you please help as this is very time-consuming? Thanks.

Why did the search box disappear from the Twitter homepage? For example if I am looking for either a person's actual name or Twitter username, what is the easiest way to do this???
