We don't support the Moto Q's yet, but we're working to support as many devices and carriers as possible. Until then, you can view a list of supported carriers and devices here: http://www.loopt.com/phones

Ok, I just saw the new Brightkite integration! Excellent. Unfortunately, I was hoping to be able to post status updates to Brightkite. Then I could turn off the Brightkite to Twitter forwarding.
I'm hoping you have plans to enhance the Brightkite support to eventually allow posting status updates -- "notes" as Brightkite calls them?

Cool - I guess it just came out wrong then :)
I've released it to CPAN which means it's automatically announced to anyone who follows CPAN uploads - and it'll be easily googleable as a result too. I also posted on Plurk. If you can think of anywhere else it should be announced give me a shout. – Andy Armstrong, on June 15, 2008 19:48

Of course I think you actually want people to see it, I was just wondering why you chose here, of all places, to announce it (and here alone, until I pointed out the Plurk section). – Thomas, on June 15, 2008 19:40

My word but you have an unfortunate turn of phrase Thomas. Yeah, right - I don't want people to see it. That's why I just spent my weekend writing it, released it early to people who asked, posted an announcement here and on Plurk. Ah well. I've posted on the other thread too. – Andy Armstrong, on June 15, 2008 19:36

You should post about this in the "Please add an API for application developers" link I posted just above yours. Unless you don't want people who actually want to use it to see it? – Thomas, on June 15, 2008 19:33

I've just released WWW::Plurk - a Perl implementation of the unofficial API.
