This should not be asked about just one Searchery Section, because all of them should be able to be disabled. Further, it should easy to provide new sections by other developers. I would like, for example, to provide a Google Web History section. These kinds of "micro extensions" are getting very popular, with tools like Greasemonkey and Ubiquity popularizing them. Searchery is just another great option for pushing development to the masses.

In the mean time, I've edited my copy of Searchery's browserOverlay.css and added "display: none !important;" to searchery-section#searchery-engines, for my own needs. The same can be done for the amazon section.
