A comment on the idea "Flag as spam button" in Twitter:
I don't really agree with that. If they're overposting, then just don't follow them. But if they're using Twitter exclusively as an outlet for advertising, then they should be flaggable as spammers. – Timothy McNeil, on October 11, 2008 02:38

Over the past 10 hours, I've blocked over 200 spammers. Manually. It never ends. When does it stop? At what point do you just throw in the towel and say "I like Twitter, but this really sucks?" and then delete your account? Every 10 minutes, a few more spammers start following me and if I don't block them, it increases exponentially. Seriously, WTF?-

Fwiw, I just got a reply today for a ticket that I logged 6 days ago. May I ask -- did you get a confirmation email that your ticket was logged? – mdy, on July 05, 2008 07:44

Yeah, that's what I did ("no response yet for the support request at twitter.com/help"). Thanks for the time estimate though, it's been about 4 days so far and I was starting to wonder... (Facebook usually responds within 24 hours). I'll continue to wait, and try out identi.ca in the meantime... *sigh* – balleyne, on July 05, 2008 07:31

I think you may be better off logging a support ticket at http://twitter.com/help (though be forewarned it's usually 4 to 5 days before someone responds -- I suspect they have a bit of a backlog). – mdy, on July 04, 2008 12:33

If I remember right, it's support {at} twitter {dot} com and help {at} twitter {dot} com. Having said that, I actually prefer to use the support page at http://twitter.com/help because it's attached to their issue tracking system, and I don't have to wonder if my email will be able to get through their spam filters. If there are parts of the form that are not applicable to your problem, you can just leave it blank. – mdy, on May 26, 2008 06:20

I liked the Slider at first glance too, Dave. But I went into the Bike Gallery in Portland and checked them both out, and chose the 2-Way instead. The Slider is definitely a little too big on the iPhone -- it sort of bounces around inside it. I think the space would be better used if you keep a plastic or gel "Speck" style skin case on your iPhone. But I don't. I like the iPhone naked. And the 2-Way fits really well.
I use my 2-Way for my iPhone on my messenger bag strap when I'm biking and I carry the iPhone in it when I'm running to music at the gym. The stash pouch is the perfect place to coil and stash my earbuds when I don't want to lose them.
