I got information that this may be related to the version of DirectShow on the ROMs. It appears to be working on DShow 2_00_081014_0, but not on DShow 2_00_081029_0.
Can someone from QIK take a look at this to confirm if this is the case?

I just tried with the new HyperDragon IV ROM and it does not work either. I guess that there is something on the different ROMS that make QIK work or not. I had to go back to the HyperDragon III from Nov 10 to make it work.
I also submitted an email to support, but have not heard anything back from them.

Hello:
I just flashed the latest HyperDragon III ROM from Jan 13 and Qik stopped working. The weird thing is that the camera driver is the same from HyperDragon III from Nov 10 and on that ROM it works. Part of the Qik log says:

and the application never finishes starting (it stays on the Qik application with the waiting cursor rotating on top)

Any ideas?

I'm using HyperDragon III Opal, from October 3 and it works perfectly. I still don't know what makes one version work, but another one not.

I finally changed ROM on my TILT. I installed the latest HyperDragon III Pro and it works perfectly. Maybe it was something on Duty's ROM that was breaking QIK.

mmmm ... I also rebooted, and tried reinstalling the QIK, but nothing. it just hangs on the 'camera initializing' ... What do you get after the camera initializing screen?
I'll try flashing the AT&T ROM this weekend to see if it fixes the problem ...

I have the same issue ... it starts with 'camera initializing' and it hangs there. Could it be because I'm using Dutty's rom instead of AT&T one?
