Maybe a few free video clips (can be a few seconds short or not porn at all, like some bloppers) would be helpful in testing NA Direct. Right now I'm refusing to pay $2 just to take a beta-test look at the features and handling involved with the purchases.

My very first impressions:

1) Scene selection shows only a still image. This feels so outdated. I would expect an animation showing 4-5 pictures out of the scene when hovering the mouse over it. No, the large preview is not a replacement for it.

2) Price structure. I don't really get it. I can either download a single scene or a 3 day trial for the same price where I can download a dozen scenes. Why would I ever buy a scene? Especially

3) as I get the quicktime format. I have to agree with the other comments. Maybe I don't understand my fellow wankers, but how often do you watch porn on an iPod or iPhone? I have movies for the long bus rides, yes, but porn? Maybe I just wasn't desperate enough yet in my life.

4) Missing movie details, I think it was already mentioned. At least the scene length in minutes is a must.

5) Missing tags and a search for them. I rarely look for performers, I want to find scenes that appeal my mood. I rarely care if the scene is about a hot friend, a bookworm, a housewife or about a sex teacher. The story background is one thing, but in reality I search for young blonde chicks, hot milfs, threesomes or orgies, bbws etc. Selecting the website does help, but it's very very limited.

Oh, yes, the things I like:
The high quality preview and high quality still image when you select a scene.

Right now I would give NA Direct the label:"Yet another way to download porn." What exactly is supposed to be special about it?
If someone would ask me, why he should use NA Direct, I would say:"It's a handy interface to the porn from the NA network. You can access all websites with the same look & feel and you can search (just "performers" though) over the whole content. You don't need to switch to different websites to get the content. But you pay a fucking (pun!) high price for this comfort."

That's it. I don't know what the goal of NA Direct is. If the above is the goal, then it's nearly fine. If it's supposed to be a competition for other porn portals out there, then you have a long, long way to go.

My price recommendation: Don't do a fixed price per scene, do a price per length or file size, like the extremely successful russian MP3 sites, f.e. 1 ct per minute porn. This sounds ridiculously low, but it does work. I've never spent more money for music than with these offers. It's just too tempting to not download something for a few cents. You can sell a scene 1 time for 1,99 or 100 times for 5ct, what is the better deal in the long run? If you want something new, you boldly have to go where no man has gone before. And let's face it: Porn on the net is most often free these days. Most often illegally free, but free. Nothing will change this. If you feel the wind of change, you need to build windmills, not wind shelters.

Oh and one last thing:
What happened to NA:The Game? Did the E3 ban scare you? Combining the concept of NA:The Game with NA Direct, _this_ would be a killer application. "User 'femaleslut' has disconnected. Would you like to download this scene instead now?" Just thinking about the possibilities of combining a game with downloadable porn content would give ma a hard-on as market manager. But maybe I'm weird.
