    Luckily, I didn't get that far. No one at Adobe proved helpful in the least with this, and I continue to use the PC version in Bootcamp. It's disgraceful customer support, but it's their candy store and their monopoly.

    CS3 Suite from Windows to Mac - CROSSGRADE ?
    I've purchased a new Mac, and I'd like to move my license for CS3 Production Premium from Windows to Mac. Adobe's phone support says I have to upgrade to CS4, which I don't want to do. All I want to do is destroy my Windows license and replace it with a Mac license. Downloading the software from the site would be fine, I don't need disks.

    Is this possible, or is it time to go the eBay route? Any help is appreciated!

    Just a quick follow-up to this case. I received a call within 48 hours from Keith, a very helpful guy at Adobe. He created my case, received my form via email, and completed my transfer in a matter of minutes.

    How can I transfer ownership?
    So I bought the CS3 Production Premium on eBay. I had the other guy fill out the transfer of ownership and return it to me. Then, I dutifully faxed it to the appropriate Adobe phone number.

    I waited the 6-8 weeks and finally called Adobe. Turns out they won't process my transfer without a case number, and they will only give a case number to the other guy.

    Of course, the other guy got his money months ago and has no reason to wade through Adobe's phone tree just to help me out. And he isn't going to.

    My question: is there another way to process this transfer? I have a signed Transfer of Ownership from the previous owner. It's a legitimate transaction; I just need Adobe to acknowledge it.

    (Irony: it means more money for Adobe if they process it. I want to upgrade to CS4)
