I would like to try ordering the solid color tights in a 4X as that seems closest to my size. However, I am hesitant as the sizing talks about weight, height, and hips. I am within the weight range, and my hips are certainly over 50", but I am 3 inches shorter than the listed height.

Usually when I buy pantyhose or Spanx, they will fit me except the crotch will not actually pull up to where my crotch is. I don't know how else to describe this and I hope it makes some sense.

Is this happening because I am not tall?

If so, is it possible to make tights that are big around in the part that goes around the hips and waist (and thigh openings!) but not so long in the crotch?

It seems like certain long songs, like Pink Floyd, only play about half, and then quit. It's not the sudden cut-off I've heard about but feels more like, "we can only play a few minutes of this song legally."
