Matt: Just ran a test with my wife's iPod. Exact same behavior as with mine. Plugged in, no loss of internet connectivity. Unplugged, it dropped the stream at exactly 1/2 hour with same error message as above. Also the wi-fi icon disappeared, as with mine. I quit the PRT app and 5 seconds later the wi-fi icon reappeared on its own and I was able reconnect. Jack – Jack, on April 28, 2009 20:04

Hi Matt. Some more data. Had my iPod plugged into my computer all morning and had perfect streaming from Minn. Public Radio. At 12:17 PM I unplugged it without interrupting the stream. I predicted it would drop at 12:47. Bingo. Here's the error message: "Playback Error. This audio stream is not available at this time. Please try again later. (no Internet connection [-1009])" I see that the icon that shows I'm connected to my wi-fi is also gone. I got out of the app and as I was going to 'settings' to see what that showed, wi-fi started up again on its own.

By the way, I can't tell you how thrilled my wife and I were when we discovered this app (through the NPR website). Thanks for your good work!
