Jacket set one of Jacket's replies as an official response to "restrict access to full resolution pictures of magictouch" in Magic Toolbox
Jacket replied on November 06, 2009 11:54 to the question "restrict access to full resolution pictures of magictouch" in Magic Toolbox:
The Magic Touch Magento module uses Magento core classes to create/fetch thumbnails. So it is not possible to place all large images into a separate folder using our module.
However, we can do it by modifying the Magento core files on your site. To go ahead, purchase 3 hours of technical support and we will make this customisation for you.
Thanks!

Hi Sebastian,
174.129.228.122 is the only IP address that Magic Touch fetch images from at present. Your suggested .htaccess solution is exactly what we recommend for protecting images. Please read more about it here:
http://www.magictoolbox.com/magictouc...
Our IP address(es) can change. You should inform us if you are restricting image access via IP so that we can keep you updated of any changes.
Thanks,

This problem has now been fixed. For the record:
1. We made some modifications to Magic Magnify.
2. Then in the HTML page, we initiated MagicMagnify_stopMagnifiers(); before changing the content initiated MagicMagnify_findMagnifiers(); afterwards. We did this instead of MagicThumb.stop(); and MagicThumb.refresh(); respectively.

Jacket replied on August 03, 2009 07:56 to the question "I have just bought the magic zoom how do i upload it to my website?" in Magic Toolbox:
Hi Christina,
You should unzip the archive that you downloaded using Winzip or WinRAR or Stuffit Expander or any other zip program.
Then copy the JS and CSS files into the folder on your website where you like to keep your JS and CSS files. You can Windows Explorer to copy them on a PC or Finder on a Mac.
Now you should reference these files in the <head> of your page. See the instructions here:
http://www.magictoolbox.com/magiczoom...
Once you have your page ready to upload, use the built-in FTP tool within Dreamweaver to put the files onto your webserver.
Enjoy :)

Jacket replied on July 28, 2009 09:16 to the question "Scroll on IE7 and IE8" in Magic Toolbox:
Hi Didier,
This is a well known Internet Explorer bug.
The solution is to the CSS style add 'position: relative' to your scrollable
container. Example:
Before:
<div id="abc" class="cde" style="position: relative">
After:
<div id="abc" class="cde">

Hi Allison,
It looks like you've already found the problem as Magic Thumb is now working here: http://seventhgatemedia.com/ahm/docto...
From what you describe, the problem was probably an incorrect reference to the JS or CSS file. Please contact us on http://www.magictoolbox.com/contact/ if you have any more questions.
