Our widget is purposefully the last thing to load on your page. We don't want it to interfere with anything else loading on the page and also think it doesn't make much sense to have our widget load before the content.

We can change that if you like, Plus, 5-10 seconds sounds like a long time. If you send me your URL I can check out what's going on.

So when you visit our page to reinstall, make sure you are logged out of Outbrain. Otherwise you'll constantly be asked to claim and not able to generate the code to reinstall.

It's a bit of a bug with the site and we're aware of it -- should be fixed in a few weeks with our next release!

So here are what the column headers mean:

Share Clicks - number of times people share the article on your site through the Twitter or Facebook share icons in the frame

Word of Mouth Clicks - Clicks to your article as a result of those shares

Traffic lift - Word of Mouth Clicks / Clicks. This is the % increase you get from the shares.

Hi Nick,

If you'd like to change what recs show on your page you can log into your Outbrain dashboard and select either "Limited Recommendations" or "No Recommendations." Limited will limit it to posts on your blog. No Recs turns them off and leaves the rater.

Another option is, if you're logged into Outbrain, you should see little red x's next to all the recs on your blog. If you see a link you don't like, you can click that x and the link won't be recommended on your blog anymore.

You should also know that we recommend content for reasons other than contextual relevancy -- it could be based on articles that you've read before or some other measure. That being said, the above steps should give you the ability to adjust what you want.
