Wow, lots of activity. If only Boxee would do something about it :( The original idea was for 64-bit Boxee on Ubuntu Linux. Other OS'es have decent interop with 32.

In fact, Boxee could provide 64-bit deb architecture without really porting to 64-bit! That is the way Chromium on Ubuntu 64-bit was for several months till the native 64-bit port was ready. That would really help those on 64-bit Ubuntu to install easily.

As a dev, it is not _that_ hard to do the port, unless they are depending on some proprietary pieces that are only available to them as 32-bit.
