Jage Love reported a problem in Spotify on November 20, 2009 09:35:
Ads are too loudOkay, I understand the ads are supposed to irritate you to some degree to get more paying customers etc., but really, if there's any chance to drop the volume some 40% during an ad, that would be great.
Most of the music is not mastered to sound as loud as the ads, and therefore the ads play far too loud compared to the music. People get scared when an ad hits off...

Export/import playlist filesAllright, I did some investigation on the issue and since it's possible to copy/paste entire playlists into and out of Spotify, the work on this is nearly done. The only required change for exporting and importing playlists would be this:
1) Add a file extension that Spotify recognizes and opens as default (e.g. playlistname.spf)
2) Change the format of the (plain text) file so, that first line works as the playlist name, and the rest of the lines are the tracks (format: spotify:track:tRaCK_CodE)
3) Add "Export" to edit menu and to the menu that opens when you right-click a playlist-
