Understand your reasoning and support it. But with the influx of new folks, I"m not even certain my new content is even being read. They've certainly not been commented on, marked or favourited. And yeah, I know... give more to get more. I'm feeling a little left out with all these new faces who come with pre-established relationships...

Filtering Content by Category or User (Set Preferences?)
I'd like to see the ability to filter or block specific users' content or specific categories of content.

This isn't to say that I want this type of content blocked from the site. I don't want to prevent anyone else from reading it. I just don't want to read it myself. For instance, I don't want to read poetry.

I'd like to have a personal user-defined setting which allows me to filter out anything in the poetry category. By the same token, if there's someone out there that I have a personal issue with, I'd like to arrange it so that their content is filtered out--that way I don't have to see when they create a new story...

    Flag stories to invite criticism?
I've come across a couple of thorny comment-exchanges because I've left commentary under the "criticism" flag. It appears to me that those authors really weren't looking for criticism.

Knowing that there are different levels of approach for this thing, I wonder if it might be possible to work in a flag of some sort to indicate whether the author is inviting criticism.

Perhaps making the criticism button on the commentary page unavailable unless the author wants it?

I just want to avoid offending more people, if I can help it.
