A comment on the problem "smart zone red x problems" in Comcast:
Ed - You are absolutely correct. This is a problem with so-called "SmartZone", and it is UNACCEPTABLE that Comcast is blaming this on other ISPs! This didn't start until we were switched to SZ.
There is a temporary solution (until Comcast actually decides to fix the problem), which is to send the emails (with pictures embedded) as attachments - if you can figure out how to do it. I know it works, because my brother has started doing this, and I can now see the pictures that he sends to me. However, I can't figure out how to do it. I don't think he remembers how he made the switch, because I've asked him several times to explain it to me and he hasn't. I'm pretty sure that a Comcast rep walked him through it. – Jake spaar, on April 22, 2009 23:01-
