Thanks for the reply.
Just after posting this problem I deleted all the contacts, and that seems to have made it so the emailed links don't work (they redirect to the login page), so I don't think anybody actually saw the top-secret name.
I'm glad that you are taking action both to make it more clear when invitations will be sent, and to provide a pathway for parents-to-be. I think you should also add a way to delete an account.

delete my account immediately. emails sent to imported contactsApparently when I imported from Gmail an invitation was sent to everyone, with no notification to me. The baby is not born yet and we were not ready to let people know the name. I am really furious about this and have no interest in using the site further.
furthermore there does not seem to be any way to delete the account.

contact names not imported from gmail. no way to edit contacts?I imported contacts from Gmail. It seems to have gotten the email addresses but not the names.
Also, there seems to be no way to edit contacts or move them from one category to another.

can't set up notifications for same address I signed up within the getting started steps, there is a step to set up notifications, but when I put in my email address (the same one I signed up with) it says it is already taken. so either the step should not be there or it should allow my email.

can't add an ing direct account with automatic uploaderI've been trying to get my ING Direct account reconnected to Wesabe (used to work), but every time I try to add the account it fails. Is it just me or is this broken? I can log into the account OK, I have reset my security questions. I emailed support about a week ago but have not heard back.
I am totally bummed about this because I rely on Wesabe and it sucks not having the last month of data.

I think I don't understand what "Force update" does. I tried deleting one of the affected contacts on my phone, in the hope that a clean version would be sync'd back when I did a force update sync. But after syncing the contact was deleted from Soocial. Is there any way to overwrite everything in the phone with everything on Soocial? – Jake Donham, on May 22, 2009 16:40

duplicate numbers with N75 syncI have duplicated phone numbers (the same number twice on one contact, with slight formatting variations, e.g. spaces instead of dashes) on my phone (Nokia N75). At some point those got sync'd back to my Soocial contacts.
I cleaned up the Soocial contacts (remove the duplicate numbers), then sync'd my phone, dups are still there. Then I tried "force update" in Soocial, dups are still there. Even tried turning the phone off and on, dups are still there? What gives?-

Still wasn't working for me yesterday, but I tried changing the sync access point to Proxyless (from DataConnect) and now it works.
Now that I think of it, I never had DataConnect as an option before (just MEdia Net, Multimedia, and Proxyless). I think maybe whatever Soocial sent in the configuration text is not a valid choice on AT&T, or maybe just not for my particular plan.

I had a hiccup during signup (put in the wrong number, didn't get text message, went back and tried again, ended up with two phone connections in Soocial), I tried deleting the connections and re-adding it, still doesn't work.

search by tag and month/year doesn't workFrom Spending Summary, if I click on a particular month, then click on a tag, I get transactions from that month but not filtered by tag. Works if it's a date range (e.g. latest transactions), but not if it's a month/year.
