Awesome feedback response atebits. Thanks for keeping us updated! I also noticed there's an auto-update added to 1.0.1. Good job on quickly squashing this issue! – Jakob Heuser, on April 20, 2009 18:14

Yeah, had tried that. It finally started working this morning. I don't think the error message is very accurate though, as I don't actually have any store credit. – Jakob Heuser, on December 11, 2008 18:53

Hey, haven't forgotten about the thread, wanted to update you.
In response to the bit about family members, one of the problems Gaia has is the inability to separate accounts from the machines they primarily run on. Because both you and holy lord assassin have several exchanges on the same machine, we have to treat these accounts as owned by the same individual. :(
Just to clarify, you've contacted Gaia via the "Contact Us" link in their footer, yeah?

Jakob Heuser replied on October 03, 2008 16:02 to the discussion "Unfairness on gaia: Is it fair to be banned after ONE slip off?" in Gaia Online:
We don't actually ban IP addresses. Mostly because users who are on services such as AOL would get accidentally caught in the crossfire. Additionally, you should always be able to contact the General Inquiry contact form to get additional information about your ban. When the ban isn't clear, and the customer support isn't helping, that's when a thread ends up here on GS.
I understand you want to help Karen, but misinformation won't help anyone reach the solutions that they need. =\
Jakob Heuser replied on October 03, 2008 15:59 to the problem "I cannot access Gaiaonline. Please help?" in Gaia Online:
Okay, it seems to be mapping to pantherCDN. I'll forward this thread over to operations here at Gaia, maybe they can offer some insight. On your end, I'd recommend contacting your ISP and informing them of the domain you keep timing out to reach.
Usually, problems like this are between your ISP and our ISP. We'll bug ours, and if you can bug yours, hopefully they'll pick up the phone and call each other. :D
