Creating 'photo tour' with automaticly generated narrator? Text-to-speech softwareI have an idea of a tool that would give posibility to creat 'photo tour', but with automaticly generated narrator (which would be very, very human-like!). This solution can use text-to-speech technology.
It would work like this:
- I am on vacations, make photos of places,
- in home I upload them to Facebook,
- in Facebook I chose some of pictures,
- to every picture I add some discription how I get there and was it nice etc (in txt),
- then I just click "create phototour"... 2-3 sec and done... I have photos with narrator which is very human-like!
To do this you need server-side text-to-speech engine. I can recommand IVONA Text-To-Speech. Try its quality at www.ivona.com
What do you think about this idea?

Slidecast with automaticly generated speech? What do you think of adding text-to-speech to slidecast for generating speech automaticly?
The idea is to integrate TTS software with SlideShare. I would like to create a slidecast with speech. With this feature I have to upload powerpoint presentation with notes in every slide. Then this new tool could *automatycly* create speech to every slide. Two clicks and we could have slidecast :)
What TTS could be used? It has to be very good quality. That is why I recommend IVONA text-to-speech engine - try it by your self at www.ivona.com
