A comment on the problem ""Claim my comments" not working" in IntenseDebate:
I agree, Dustin. I have thought of switching to Disqus just because this feature is so important to me.
However, ID does have OpenID and Facebook login support. Login to ID's website. The Facebook config options are under Settings. The OpenID support is under Customize. Check out my blog for an example in action. http://jaledwith.com/ – Andrew, on September 25, 2009 13:07

Add j.mp to URL shortenersAll bit.ly links are now also j.mp links. I'd like the ability to choose j.mp to shorten URLs.
Bit.ly announces j.mp: http://blog.bit.ly/post/179664996/go-ahead-and-j-mp-

Can someone from ID speak to this?
I installed ID on a blog I've had for a while. In the time I've had the blog I've made comments in response to my visitors' comments. Is there a way for me to "claim" the comments I've made in the past, before I had ID? I'd like for them to all visually appear to be from the admin of the site.
Thanks.-

Akismet: ID Settings and WP PluginI see on the IntenseDebate settings page there's an option to enable Akismet for spam protection. I'm using ID on my self-installed WP site where I'm also using the Akismet plugin.
Question: Do I need the plugin active AND the settings option checked for Akismet to work? Or can I shut one of them off? If I can turn one off, does it matter which one?
Thanks!

Integration with Su.pr -- StumbleUpon's URL shortenerI'd like to see Su.pr (pronounced "Super") added to the list of choices of URL shorteners. They're currently in private beta.
