Jott supports a special syntax: Just say "tag as to-do, email", and Sandy will tag it as @todo and @email.

So, in other words, they are aware that such methods are often used for spam tracking, and they apparently have reason to be wary of that. For the extra point in this direction, they also block spamgourmet.com.
